The common trend I’ve noticed is their fake woke logic only applies because they themselves haven’t been faced with such disease. Met my first real life anti vaxxer a few months back. Real hippie chick, healing crystals, essential oils, but like lives by it - not just the fun cure all oils shared on Facebook. Meanwhile goes on about how vaccines are so toxic and Mercury and what not. Apparently me asking what happens if her 4 year old daughter caught measles and implying said mother never had to experience measles or polio for that matter, because she herself was vaccinated, was crossing the line.
Stay woke Oppo. Teatree oil.. uh rice wine vinegar and some rose quartz.

You know, it’s interesting how times change. I read about how in the US government posses went around forcibly vaccinating kids against polio for the public good. People talk about government heavy handedness nowadays, but a censure ago, anti-vaxxers simply wouldn't have been allowed, free government or no.

There's a fair amount of infants and immunocompromised people who can't be vaccinated, and are at extreme risk from those that choose not to vaccinate.

It is amazing to me how things like this spread so quickly and are
believed so thoroughly. One very questionable, and quickly debunked/discredited “study” gets posted and shared online and all of a sudden we have an international movement on our hands based on said “study” which endangers the lives of millions. We, as a species, are truly devolving. For fuck’s sake people, take some time to research and think critically about that which you read, be it online or elsewhere. Fucking humans, man.

Agreed.
I do say cunt a lot when with friends or online. Despite my feelings about it, I know some people are sensitive to it.
I still don’t understand why people arbitrarily drew the line at cunt, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s by far my favorite profanity that involves body parts.

Interestingly, a mutant strain of polio which evolved from the vaccine is now paralyzing more people world wide than the wild polio virus.
Only 21 cases in 2017, but pretty crazy how persistent nature is.
